Our excursion around Amsterdam begins from Amsterdam Central Station – the most lively spot in town. We'll be visiting Dam Square, where we'll see the Royal Palace and the National Monument. By walking along Kalverstraat we'll reach the Catholic cathedral that's nicknamed “The Parrot” - and find out how it got this strange name. Along Niewendijk street we'll take in a few boutiques and coffee-shops. Next we move on to ceremonial Amsterdam with its monasteries and canals, finishing at last with the unofficial and laid-back Amsterdam of China-Town... as well as seeing some of the typical courtyards that give this city its unique atmosphere and character.
