This will be a very direct itinerary, in the literal sense. We will head south along the upper part of Manhattan's second most popular street, Fifth Avenue, and will swerve a bit to the east and a bit to west only in the beginning and in the end of our journey.
We will learn about New York's most important museums and how in the beginning of the 20th century wealthy, culturally starved art patrons acquainted the American public with the masters of European Art. Being on the city's most expensive thoroughfare, we will also get a closer look at the opulence that has made Fifth Avenue more than a street - it has made it a brand.
