This walk, called "Beyond the Fortress walls" offers visitors the chance to enjoy the magnificent examples of architecture to have survived from medieval Croatia. When you walk along the elegant central street of Stradun-Placa you'll see how Dubrovnik's citizens lived in the XV century, you'll refresh yourself with cool water from the famous Onofria fountains, and visit the oldest pharmacy in the country. Along the way you'll see splendid mansions, find some grassy areas hidden near the walls of the mighty fortress – and see imposing cathedrals built in the unique Dalmatian style.
